Privacy Policy

Good Looks (operated from Hong Kong, contact hello@goodlooks.hk) runs a curated directory of hairstylists and an AI hairstyle previewer at goodlooks.hk.

• Account info when you sign up: email address and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name and picture.
• Saved hairstyles and AI-generation history you create while signed in.
• Selfies and target hairstyle images you upload to the AI previewer at /getgoodlooks. These are stored in our private bucket and tied to your account.
• Interest requests you submit (your contact handle and any message you write) so the Good Looks team can forward them to the relevant stylist.

Each hairstyle in our directory is anchored to a public Instagram post. We display these via Instagram’s official embed mechanism and we cache the post’s thumbnail image in our own storage so the page loads quickly and reliably. We do not collect any personal data from the Instagram users beyond what they have chosen to make public, and we do not retain captions, comment text, or follower information.

When you interact with an embedded Instagram post (clicking Like, opening the post on Instagram, etc.) Instagram may set its own cookies and apply its own privacy policy.

• To let you sign in and access your saved hairstyles and AI generations.
• To forward your interest requests to the relevant hairstylist (manually, by our team).
• To improve the product (aggregate, non-identifying analytics).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Account data, saved hairstyles, and interest requests are stored in Supabase (Postgres + Storage). AI generation requests pass through OpenAI’s API for the image-edit step; OpenAI processes the image input as documented in their API terms. We do not send your data to any other third party.

Account, saved hairstyle, and AI generation data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account by emailing hello@goodlooks.hk and we’ll remove your data within 30 days.

We set a session cookie when you sign in (used by Supabase Auth) and an anonymous session cookie used to associate AI generations made before sign-up. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@goodlooks.hk. If you are a hairstylist whose public Instagram post appears in our directory and you would like the entry removed, please reach out to the same address.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top.
