User Data Deletion

Good Looks lets you request deletion of any account or content data we hold about you. This page describes how to request that deletion, and what happens to your data when you do.

Send an email to goodlooks.hongkong@gmail.com with the subject line “Data deletion request” and include:

1. The email address associated with your Good Looks account (or the Facebook/Instagram identifier you used to sign in).
2. Whether you want everything deleted, or only specific items (e.g., a particular AI hairstyle generation, a saved hairstyle, an interest request you submitted).

We’ll confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

When you request a full account deletion, we remove:

• Your account record (Supabase Auth user)
• Your profile (display name, avatar URL)
• All saved hairstyles you’ve favorited
• All AI hairstyle generations you’ve created (selfie upload, target image, generated result)
• All interest/booking requests you’ve submitted
• Session cookies and any cached login state

We may retain limited information after deletion if required by law, for fraud prevention, or for aggregate non-identifying analytics (e.g., total number of generations made in a given month, with no link back to you). Where we retain, the data is fully de-identified.

If you are a hairstylist whose public Instagram work appears in our directory and you’d like the listing removed, email the same address with the subject line “Directory removal request” and the IG handle. We’ll remove the listing within 30 days.

Hairstyle images shown on our pages are served via Instagram’s official embed mechanism, which Instagram controls. If you delete a post on Instagram, the embedded view on Good Looks reflects that change automatically. Cached thumbnails we hold in our own storage are removed within 30 days of either the post being deleted or you requesting removal.
